When do you start Christmas shopping?
How do you budget for Christmas?
I'm a planner so I like to have the kids make a list and I will make a list of what I would like to get them. I make a list of everyone elses gifts also. Then I do my research online and try to find the deals and prices so I know what kind of number I'm looking at. I don't go overboard, that's not what Christmas is about.

Do you stick to your budget?
Yes I stick to my budget. Just last year I had all my gifts purchased probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Then Hubs decides that we should get the kids another big gift. I stood my ground knowing that they had plenty already and said NO! Not this year, it will be the first thing on the list next year.

You sound so much like me! I usually wait til December too and have to be armed with my list.
See - we moms are Santa! Making a list and checking it twice. LOL.
I think I work the same way you do. I don't really set a price limit in advance I just know how much I want to spend on each person and as long as I stay REALLY close to that I feel pretty good!
I look for deals online too!
Way to go on the budget! My hubby forgets about that part of money sometimes. :) You're better than I, being done 2 weeks early.

I make lots of lists for Christmas gifts too, but then, I make lots of lists for everything! haha I wish we were better at sticking to our budget!

I'm an early Dec shopper as well.
Oh i hate shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I've done it once and swore it wasn't worth it and will never do it again! But you're like me, i am all about bargains!!

I never go all out the day after thanksgiving. If I go anywhere it's just to Target. And it's gotten me a few good deals! I'm bound to get all of my shopping done early this year!

I try to shop early and look for sales and stuff throughout the year but rarely do.
Its always a good thing to plan ahead but does it ever really happen?
And what about the christmas sales? We don't wanna miss out on those!!
I'm with you on not going out too much on Black Friday. I can't handle the people and the traffic! This year I will be doing a lot of online shopping.
I have to start before Thanksgiving. I don't even like grocery shopping in December because there are more people out.

I'm usually finishing up on Christmas Eve no matter how early I start...so good for you for finishing with plenty of time to spare!
LOL! I could never get it all done in just December.
I hide out in my house and avoid the stores like the plague starting in December...I wouldn't be able to stand it!
I like to shop on-line but we are trying to budget all year round though.
